Misr Bank - Europe GmbH, "Egypt’s Bank in Europe", in 1992 started doing business in Frankfurt.
Main activity is the handling of Middle European - Egyptian trade.
It is the only Egyptian bank in Germany.

Misr Bank - Europe GmbH has a full banking license and is a member of the Association of German Banks, Berlin. Customer deposits consequently are covered by the association’s deposit insurance. Most prominent among the other memberships are the Association of Foreign Banks in Germany, Frankfurt, the Private Banking Industry’s Employers Association, Berlin, the NUMOV German Near- and Middle-East-Association, Berlin, the Union of Arab Banks, Beirut, the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Cairo and the Ghorfa Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Berlin.

(69,75 % directly and 10,00 % through Banque du Caire)

National Investment Bank (Arab Republic of Egypt) 10,00 %



In Europe the Misr Bank - Europe GmbH's shareholders additionally operate through Banque Misr Paris Branch and National Bank of Egypt (UK) Ltd., London.
